The Challenge
Renovating 118 extended-stay suites alongside the lobby, breakfast area, and fitness center required precise coordination of kitchen, bathroom, millwork, and FF&E scopes — all while maintaining Residence Inn by Marriott brand standards and ADA requirements. The project also took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, introducing health protocols, adjusted work schedules, and the added complexity of maintaining safe, steady progress across a large multi-room property.
Our Approach
ChristoTrim coordinated installation of new cabinet door fronts and hardware in kitchens and vanities, quartz countertops, kitchen appliances, closet and TV wall millwork, shower conversions, case goods, soft seating, and barn doors throughout all 118 suites. ADA upgrades were incorporated into designated rooms, and the lobby, breakfast area, and fitness center each received complete FF&E and finish installations. Work was carefully phased to maintain consistent quality and steady progress throughout.
The Results
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the project was delivered on time with fully renovated suites, refreshed public spaces, and an upgraded fitness center. The updated interiors align with Residence Inn brand standards — providing guests with modern finishes, improved kitchen functionality, and the comfort that extended-stay travelers expect. The renovation positions the property well for long-term guest satisfaction at the Louisville Airport corridor.
