The Challenge
Converting an aging downtown hotel into a modern AC Hotels by Marriott property required extensive upgrades to guestrooms, bathrooms, and public areas — all aligned with the brand's contemporary European-inspired design standards. Construction had to be carefully coordinated within an active urban environment, with limited staging space and the logistical demands of a busy downtown Atlanta location.
Our Approach
ChristoTrim installed custom millwork, quartz surfaces, bathroom vanities, case goods, and a complete FF&E package across all 255 guestrooms and public areas. Guestroom layouts were refreshed with new furnishings, upgraded bathrooms, and modern finishes. Lobby millwork, soft seating, window treatments, and interior components throughout the public areas were also installed to complete the brand transformation.
The Results
The renovation successfully transformed the property into the AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown, delivering modern guestrooms and upgraded public spaces fully aligned with AC Hotels by Marriott brand standards. The project repositioned the property within Atlanta's competitive downtown hospitality market, providing a refreshed, contemporary guest experience throughout.
